Alecia Kimball

Alecia Kimball is a U.S. Army veteran and former law enforcement officer with extensive experience in investigations, crisis negotiation, and public safety. She served in the Army before transitioning to law enforcement, where she worked as a patrol deputy and later moved into criminal investigations, specializing in homicide, violent crimes, and child abuse cases.

During her military service, Alecia was trained in tactical operations, leadership, and crisis response, skills that became instrumental in her law enforcement career. Her time in the Army instilled discipline and a deep commitment to service, shaping her approach to policing andpublic safety.

Promoted to Lieutenant in 1999, she led the child abuse and homicide division and established one of the first undercover internet crime units targeting child predators in partnership with NCMEC. As a Special Response Team member, she also served as a hostage/crisis negotiator. Later, she transitioned to a Public Safety Department, working in community policing, fire response, and juvenile crime investigations.

Beyond law enforcement, Alecia has trained service dogs for veterans and educates law enforcement on ADA regulations. In 2017, she published a book on military service and the role of service dogs in veteran recovery. Passionate about public safety and veteran advocacy, she continues to share her expertise with the community.
