The Leatherhead 8# Ultra-Force Axe is a game-changing forcible entry tool for firefighters. Developed with an understanding that not all departments have ample staffing, this axe offers a mechanical advantage for single-person or two-person teams, making forced entry less challenging. The metal is heat-treated for strength and durability, while an oversized striking side offers excellent hand protection. The bottom of the axe beard emulates a lumberjack's axe for more contact area when chopping or cutting, and the sharp, thin blade can wedge into tight spots during forcible operations. Together with a Halligan Bar, it makes an efficient Set of Irons.
