Galls® Tri-fold Leather Badge Wallets help hide your identity.
Round (2-1/2" dia); Shield (3-1/2"H x 2-1/2"W); Oval (3-3/8"H x 2-1/4"W)
I bought this wallet to replace one just like it that I had for 20 years. Very nice badge wallet.
The quality is good and leather is soft. The wallet doesn't seem designed well though. Its natural state is open, so when you put it in your pocket, if feels like it is trying to open up. The credit cards on the top and side flap press against each other like a vice, springing the wallet open. About the width of a deck of cards and a half, with the outer edge trying to stay open. Maybe if you kept in a press for while it might work, but it seems like the hinge flap just isn't long enough. I want to return it, but it will loose S/H in the process. Hope this review can save you some cash.
I have had one of this model (BCC005) for at least 5+ years and it has finally given up the ghost. Same reasons as in DH II's review. I like the wallet very much. I recommend it highly.
I would like to comment on two other comments about this wallet. The picture does not show a photo holder just an ID holder.
As to SB's comment that the money compartment should be in all three parts, I have never seen one like he is talking about. Your wallet is and does just as it is potrayed in your catalog. I found the ability to put the cursor over the picture and see blown up sections of the picture leaves no doubt as to what you are ordering.
I bought this wallet 7 years ago and finally decided to get another after realizing it is way past its prime. The stitching has held up very well, but the leather has finally worn in the corners and torn completely along one fold. Due to the nylon lining, everything is still secure. It started out as a nice compact wallet, but through the years, I guess I just kept adding stuff and now it is described by others as a “George Costanza wallet”. It has held up great though.
