Armament Systems and Procedures (ASP) OC defenders are specifically designed as a dispersion system for chemical irritants. Unlike typical aerosol cans, ASP Defenders are made with durable material and incorporate a proprietary container, valve system and patented dispensing mechanism. In addition, the replaceable inserts provide straight-line dispersions for minimal exposure to blowback and are available in active heat (OC) canisters and test (inert) canisters.

The ASP Palm Defender Self Defense Spray Baton is a lightweight, low-profile tool that’s easy to carry and devastatingly effective. This ASP weapon is made out of anodized aluminum for durability and fine line knurling for a better grip. To prevent accidental discharge, the system combines a wraparound safety and thumb-activated brass swivel. When activated, this OC spray provides two million Scoville Heat Units. 

The ASP Heat Insert is a replacement canister of OC pepper spray for the Palm Defender. This spray insert is easy to install and precision-machined from aerospace aluminum and solid brass for durability. This heat formulation offers maximum-strength, police-grade OC at 10% Oleoresin Capsicum with 1.33% major capsaicinoids and two million Scoville Heat Units (SHU). This spray also has an effective range of three feet and has three-second bursts.
