ASP Duty Gear & Training Equipment
In 1976, Armament Systems and Procedures (ASP) was founded by Kevin Parsons, Ph.D. in Police Management. Dr. Parsons spent the beginning of his career as a police academy instructor for firearm and self defense tactics but later developed use-of-force training systems for police agencies all across the country. Leveraging his years of experience, Dr. Parsons shaped ASP as a company dedicated to providing law enforcement with only the finest tactical gear and training programs they can trust their lives with.
Today, ASP continuously works to develop new products through prototyping, lab testing and field testing. Through this work, the company is able to manufacture five distinct categories of products that service police forces in over 100 countries. These categories include:
- Police Batons
- Tactical Flashlights
- Pepper Spray
- Training Tools
ASP Police Batons, Police Lights & Handcuffs
ASP makes their batons, flashlights and handcuffs with the highest set of standards. These standards include the precision, quality, design and reliability that customers demand.
For a virtually indestructible baton, the ASP 26” Expandable Baton comes highly recommended by elite federal teams and tactically advanced law enforcement agencies. This ASP baton is the standard for intermediate force and is made with a protracted length to give you the necessary leverage for locks and holds. This police baton also features 4140 steel chrome plating, foamed vinyl grips and an impact forged tip.
The ASP Poly Triad CR Flashlight is the latest generation of the ASP Triad series. This tac light features a polymer construction molded over an aluminum frame for maximum durability within a lightweight package. This police light is also powered by two CR123A batteries and utilizes a Cree XPG2 LED to produce a 300-lumen output for up to two hours.
Designed with input from officers and instructors in over 100 countries, The ASP Ultra Steel Chain Handcuffs incorporates practical features requested by officers. These ASP handcuffs are forged with an alloy frame made out of 7075 T6 ordnance grade aluminum and joined with stainless steel chains and locking pins. These police handcuffs also eliminate the need for backloading and use a standard handcuff key.
ASP Training Weapons & Restraints
Every year, ASP spends over $2 million in training programs for law enforcement officers that teach them simple, repeatable and legally defensive tactics. From their famous red guns to training batons and handcuffs, ASP police training programs are sought after by agencies around the world.
Designed for use with the ASP Training Bag, the ASP 21” Training Baton provides the perfect simulation for street confrontations. This training baton can be worn, drawn or secured during training drills and features a velcro retention strap, a replaceable foam core and cable tie cover retention.
The ASP Red Training Chain Handcuffs makes it easier to practice your restraining technique over and over again. These cuffs open just by rotating the wrists but can be double locked as well. If you do double-lock the cuffs, the only way to remove them is with a handcuff key (included).
