I selected three of these shirts and had them embroidered with my department's custom logo (patch design) on one side and my name/rank on the other. The three vary in age from a year to a month, and are worn alongside legion other navy blue uniform apparel. I have found two faults of these shirts. 1. The dark navy fades faster than any other uniform item I've ever seen. I've even attempted to stem the fading with special "for darks" detergent. 2. The pen slots are awesome: until they get holes at the bottom that render the shirt inappropriate for uniform wear. If they can't take a basic $20 twist-retractable pen, please don't put them up there and call them pen slots. A lot of us don't like walking around with crappy, plastic disposable pens in view.
