I have owned several different brands of flashlights and this is the first streamlight I have purchased. I have friends in LE that have streamlight stingers and I have seen what they can do beforehand and all in all I really enjoy this flashlight...only had it for about a week
Ordered this light as a start to my law enforcement career and it is crazy bright! Love the three settings and strobe setting! If you want a good flashlight this is it. Also, when getting the chargers get both so you can charge it in your car and in a regular outlet. DC-car charger, AC-wall charger.
Very bright light, just the correct length to carry on my duty belt, and be long enough to be practice. The two button design allow me to select the light mode, without cycling though each one every time I turn it on ( unlike the cheap lights).
Well myself, I am a flashlight geek and own several different models. I have worked security off and on for several years. Not to defame any other brands that are made, I have to say the Streamlight Stinger is BY FAR the best flashlight ever made. I bought 2 units, and 2 back batteries. I feel safe owning this flashlight. Whatever your job entails, or just for home use, you cannot go wrong purchasing this flashlight!
I been using this light on duty for two years now it's an outstanding standing flashlight haven't had any problems
This light is simply AWESOME REAL BRIGHT.
Perfect for being on duty.
If your a LEO BUY IT!!!!
I work security and I been having this for about 2 years and man still works great. It's been thrown into the ground minor scrapes bit this light still keeps going. Well built never going to sell it, or give it away.
What type of holster is best for this light.
This light is worth every penny. I use this light on duty and it's perfect.
I have been using this light now for about a year. I can say without a doubt, nothing compared to this light. I was spending 25-30 dollars a month in 123's to get the power that this light produces.
I work 8's with about 4 hours of checking buildings in the wee hours. I have no qualms with entering a darked out building with this light on my belt.
The strobe is my favorite part of this light. I've been able to flag down other officers, EMS and fire personnel at night. It's a great feature that doubles as a traffic light. Just hit the strobe and point it at said car. In complete sunlight, it's very visible.
I will never leave for duty without this light. It's the small things that can make a bad shift, not so bad.
