Lightweight stability and support.
These boots are very comfortable.
That being said, I have had them and worn them every other shift for a year now. The rubber sole where I walk is worn down to the point the rubber sole is breaking.
The tread is also not the best for slicker surfaces, like a wet street.
I own this book in the desert tan for the military. I threw out my Altima's after wearing this boot. The boot fits like a slipper and is extremely light. Nico sounds like he did not get the right size. (another review) I found that i fit into the 9 and 9 1/2 and i picked the 9 1/2.
The shortcoming of the boot to me is the leather. It scuffs easily and the color is noticeable (this is the tan color) This new model addresses this by changing the leather and reinforces other features.
I recommend this boot to everyone that i talk about when they are looking at buying boots
Because I'm a huge fan of the Nike free running shoes, I figured these boots would be just as light and comfortable. I was not disappointed. I've been wearing these boots for 9 months and have had absolutely no issues. I've pulled numerous 12 hour standing shifts and these boots stay comfortable and my feet feel much less fatigued than in the Rocky's I used to wear. My one complaint is that they don't have the side zipper option, which would then make them perfect.
The sole on this boot is to stiff. They are very uncomfortable. Your feet hurt just after a few hours and was rubbing my little toe raw. Terrible boot if your going to be standing on your feet for 8 hours and sometimes up to 16 hours. Worst duty boot ever.
