i have 3 pairs of these pants, 12 years EMS and wont wear any other style or brand.
Heavy fabric for protection and durability, plus lots of storage
I am very satisfied with the EMS pants I purchased. They are a little heavier and block the cold and wind better than actual BDU style pants. The Teflon treated fabric great at repelling fluids and preventing stains. I plan to purchase a couple more pairs in the near future.
These are the only EMS pants I will wear while on duty !!! I'am still wearing my original pair after 6yrs.
I love 5.11 but the difference between their Tac-Lite and regular EMS pants is night and day. These pants feel like grampa's old twill pants, not what I expect from expensive tactical work wear. 5.11's Tac-Lite EMS pants are much lighter but also much stronger ripstop material... and the same price. I have several pairs of each. I only wear the Tac-Lites.
These pants are top of the line and water resistant four three hours in the pouring rain with no water treatment by the user. Durability and range of motion is the best I have found. Whether your in fire or Ems these pants are a must.
