Tactical armor comes in a variety of options, including ballistic helmets with face shield attachments, and active shooter kits with MOLLE compatible features. Many of our active shooter kits come with threat level III and IV NIJ approved ballistic plates for protection against high-powered firearm ammunition. Please note that this feature does not mean that tactical armor is “bulletproof." Instead, “bullet-resistant” is a much more accurate representation. Slowing and absorbing projectile impact is not the same as deflection.

Popular Tactical Body Armor

Designed for maximum protection and durability, The Avon BA3A Ballistic Helmet w/ Integrated Face Shield provides Threat Level IIIA protection. This tactical helmet is made of thermoplastic composite materials with a contoured shell for comfort during extended periods of wear. It also accommodates gas mask use and has a universal harness system to fit all sizes.

The Galls Active Shooter Kit offers affordable protection in active shooter situations and is Threat Level IV tested. This police vest is worn over your uniform and includes two Paraclete Triple Curve Level IV Rifle Plates for standalone protection against rifle rounds, including .30-06 AP. The plate carrier vest itself has front and back sleeves for soft body armor or plates up to 10.25” x 13.25”. It also features MOLLE webbing for customization with MOLLE pouches.
