The Jersey Tactical Jersey Boot is a multi-use breaching and entry support tool developed as a compact alternative to carrying a breaching backpack and ram during extended operations. Weighing 30 lbs before added ballast, the updated design includes a lower custom port that allows operators to adjust weight by adding or removing clean dry sand. The tool can be used as a conventional ram on inward-swinging doors, as a pry tool on outward-swinging doors, or as a break-and-rake tool for windows, wall board, and other access points. It also supports lock-busting, sledge-style impact work, door chocking, step assistance, diversion throws, and secondary breaching tasks where a heavier compact tool is useful.
