AR670-1 Compliant Boots
AR 670-1 Boots | Coyote Brown Army Boots
Whether you are being deployed or just need a new pair of Army approved boots, there are many regulations that you must follow before purchasing military boots. Over the years, the features that are required in Army boots have changed. The current boot guidelines take into consideration elements such as climate, terrain and activities that the military experience daily. Some of the basic requirements include:
- Coyote Brown color
- Non-mesh synthetic lining
- Flesh side out cattle hide leather
- Nylon upper
- Plain toe
- Rubber outsole
- Outsole measuring 1.75" in height
- 8"-10" boot height
The guidelines are listed in the DA PAM 670-1, but each commanding officer can approve or restrict the authorized commercially bought boots that soldiers can wear.
