TRU-SPEC 24-7 Canvas Pants feature:
Decent pants, 36Wx302L but wished company offered ODD inseam sizes like 31L.
Washed/dried in warm settings and it stayed relatively the same but hoping that length would shrink ~1 inch ;)
Everything is essentially the same as the cotton ripstop version. It's heavier so I'm hoping that it's more durable and warmer in the colder months.
Needs to put in a separate wallet pocket.
Hope these pants are durable enough to last a few years.
I'd wear these everyday if I could. Tough pants, not too hot during summer. I work part time at a theme park outside all summer, and find them very comfortable and functional. If i were to redesign them, I'd make the inner pockets of the side pocket big enough to hold a wallet.
Anyone purchasing these pants needs to know that these are VERY heavy pants, the heaviest/thickest material I have seen. I would recommend them for cold winters, but if you don't care for that heavy and scratchy cotton material, stick with t he classic 24/7 ripstop, which are far lighter and smoother material, yet are thick enough to handle cold temps.
Great fit worth the money.
I bought these pants in Navy Blue, for work in Corrections. It is has been one yr since I bought them. These pants are 100% cotton so they are really comfortable but they have faded some. Dont seem to repel stains very well either. The one thing I didn't expect was that they are starting to tear (hole) at the corners of each of the back pockets (such as jeans do after much use) Overall, they have been very comfortable, but havent held up like more expensive pants I've worn have. If you go buy these, I suggest getting them in 65%-35% rather than 100% cotton.
