Smith and Wesson First Response Rescue Knife

Not a bad knife, but not long after I bought it (and with hardly any use) the blade doesn't stay secured inside the handle very well. I can actually sling it out with a flick of my wrist (and not in a good way). I'm worried it will come out in my pocket and create a whole other problem.

The knife itself seems to be fine, but the metal clip on the back fell off and I could not find the screws that came with it. The clip appears to be very cheap.

I have had this knife for a year now and have used it multiple time for multiple reasons. it works great no matter what you may be using it for. it holds up to rough conditions and doesn't dull that fast. it is a very strong knife.

If you're buying this for the blade, it's ok. If you're buying this for the window punch....don't waste your money! It does not work! I was in a situation where the window needed to be broken for a fellow officer's crash and this could not do it!

Smith and Wesson First Response Rescue Knife

Great in theory but poor in application. Recently bought this knife and took an extrication class, window punch did not work nor did the seatbelt cutter. Knife is great for the blade though. For a seatbelt cutter/window punch i reccomend the gerber model.. or the RESQME works wonders!
