Smith and Wesson Extreme Ops Rescue Knife

I have had this knife well over 3 months. I carry it everyday clipped in my pocket. The clip has not come loose as yet. I use this knife everyday. I havent used the window punch or the seat belt cutter but nice to know I have it if I need it. No issues at all.

Smith and Wesson Extreme Ops Rescue Knife

Was very satisfied with this knife right out of the box. It was a Christmas gift from 2013. By February of 2014, one of the screws in the belt clip is gone and the other one is so loose I don't even wear the knife on duty anymore in fear of losing it. Can't find a screwdriver small enough to even tighten the remaining screw. The clip just rotates freely around and is a nuisance. Poor quality knife, wonder if the more expensive ones are any better quality

This thing is not something John Rambo would carry, but it doesn't cost that much either. The coating on the handle is nice, giving you a sure grip. The blade seems nice and sturdy. Like any cop, I have used it for just about everything other than what it was intended to do and it still looks new. No play in the blade when open or closed. Like the other reviewers though, my belt clip fell off in about a week. Throw some locktite on the threads before the screws work their way out.

Good knife, but the clip fell off and realized it was because the screws were pulled out some how.

I purchased two of the knifes Sept 2013. The pocket clip on 1 were it is fitted on to the knife broke off on one side then the other while knife is only carried in my pants pocket. 2 weeks apart. Suggest company looking at the construction quality. I hoping my other one doesn't have the same fate.

Worked Great when Needed - October 26, 2013

Smith and Wesson Extreme Ops Rescue Knife

I purchased this knife for LE use due to its multi purpose nature. It has worked very well in all situations I have come across and I was glad to have it when I was hit and my Jeep rolled onto its side. I was extremely grateful to be carrying this knife. The clip made it very accessible. The Seat belt cutter is sharp and went through the belt like butter. The knife easily opens with one hand and I was able to snap it open and cut through the canvas top to help extricate myself from the vehicle. Overall this knife is of excellent quality for the price and is a very good value. It locks up tight and is well built. The blade has a good edge and has stayed sharp. The finish on the handle has gotten dinged up as time went on, but it is a knife so who cares?

Decent knife for the price - October 19, 2013

Smith and Wesson Extreme Ops Rescue Knife

Bought the knife for LE duty use. Worked great for me and the blade was sharp enough for the things I used it for. Only complaint is that the pocket clip became permanently bent, rendering it useless. So had to keep it down inside my pocket after that which wasn't desirable. So I guess don't put it in your back pocket and clip it on and maybe it won't do it again? Not sure. Overall good for the money.

Smith and Wesson Extreme Ops Rescue Knife

This is a great knife. It's built like a tactical knife and looks great. I love the blade and the seatbelt cutter and window punch work great. I have owned two of these knives and both have fallen apart on me. Usually the belt clip screws will come out and the bolt that holds the blade in place will come loose. A friend of mine that bought the knife also had those problems.

Smith and Wesson Extreme Ops Rescue Knife

My Girlfriend got this for me when I graduated my EMT class. The blade is nice and sharp. I haven't used the window punch yet. The seatbelt cutter works, but the angle isn't perfect so you gotta work it through the seatbelt. It's my EDC knife.

Smith and Wesson Extreme Ops Rescue Knife

I have owned this knife for awhile and like it a lot. The seatbelt and glass breaker are nice features. The only complaints I have are that the locking bar is stiff and hard to release sometimes and the clip on the side is also a little too stiff and I have trouble pulling it loose when I need it.

This knife is a good everyday knife, the liner lock is a little tough when you first get it but it feels like it is loosening up. The blade and seatbelt cutter are really sharp but the window punch doesnt feel like it will break glass! But lets hope I never have to use it!

This is a great knife from S&W and stays sharp and is a great sleek tool. The only issue that I have with it is that the locking bar that is a little tough to release, you need two hands half of the time.

the blade opens smooth, the cutter is recessed enough to where you cant touch it. the finger grip is large enough for gloves. the only downside (but fixable) is the belt clip is tight
