Cracks / Breaks Easily
December 01, 2016

We have bought dozens of these over the years for our Emergency Management program for our Floor Wardens to use during evacuations. Two all too common points of failure, threads cracking when attaching the battery and microphone cap, and the trigger mechanism breaking. These are not reliable and too expensive. I need to find another method of communication or a more sturdy and reliable bull horn supplier. Jason

Works good for awhile

Have bought several. Very good sound and volume, low cost. But not very long lasting. The trigger switch or maybe it is some electrical internal often fails. The screw-on battery cover is a big improvement over the older style hinge cover which always broke, but the screw on style can break also.

Dead in two months

1 star for the product, zero for customer service.Megaphone switch failed to engage sound in 9 weeks after purchase. Contacted Galls, no response. Could have had a dud, that's fine, but after paying 90 bucks for what looks to be a modified Pyle at double the cost, I would like good customer service. Been three years, no response.

Great piece of gear.

The StreetThunder sound just shut up that no-good dog next door double quick. 1:45AM and they let that piece of you-know-what out to start yapping up a storm. I would be at wit's end without my megaphone.
