This suit is definitely more comfortable than the standard "catcher's suit" we're used to. It's clearly designed for a correctional setting without a gun belt.
In order to accommodate a gun belt, you'll need to ditch the hip/thigh piece and probably trim or downsize the chest protection to keep the gun belt from pushing the chest into your chin. The sizing straps help but they're not as good as removing a foam line.
A smaller stature female on our team has had trouble with the hard outer shell digging into her inner biceps but a Dremmel tool fixes that.
Once properly sized for you and your gear, there's nothing I've seen better on the market.
