Shoe horns, another commonly available item, help preserve the form and shape of your footwear. Jamming your foot, toes first, into your shoes or boots puts undue pressure on the back and the back seams. A shoe horn bridges the back and seam thus easing your foot into place.

Shoe laces are an integral part of your footwear. When purchasing a new set of shoes or boots, make certain to get an extra set of laces. When one shoe's lace breaks, replace both sets.
