Whelen 90 Watt Power Supply and Hideaway Kit

Extremely Brite! As a beginner, it took longer to install the kit but take your time and its easy. I cant wait to show everyone! Im using 6 lights on my 2002 Silverado. I had to order extra cables to reach one corner of the truck. I absolutely recomend this kit.

Only problem is you will need help to put them in. But VERY VERY good lights day or night you can see them!

These strobes work very, very well. There's no way other drivers can't see you coming. I just finished the install. I recommend getting a switch panel, I got the Galls one. I had plenty of spare wire (installing on a sedan) but didn't have enough connectors. I am missing a female connector, it may have been lost somewhere during the install, but I would think that for the amount of money you're paying, they should throw in a little extra plastic pieces. Hopefully Radio Shack will have some... The instructions are good, except if you're a novice consider getting this professionally installed. I spent about 8 hours total installing in my sedan. Feel free to split it up though, I did the cutouts on the lights (1 holes) first with a Dremel one day, then installed the box, then installed the wiring (the longest part), and then installed the switch panel. Also, I chose to put voltage on the optional flash pattern selector circuit rather than the hi/lo selector circuit.

I have been through wig wags, el-cheapo's and all the others. this package is really worth the money. I maintain a fleet of 6 police cars and 2 of my own, and this is the only package I will work with. Each package took me about 3 hours to install and they are incredible. They pack a lot of visible power, day and night.

Can't improve on whelen products...except...am a little bit confused about high/low setting switch since not much difference in intensity. Also would be nice to be able to control sets of 2 strobes independently (not just pair and other 4) Be careful - 2000 Dodge quad cab with power supply under rear seat - 15 ft cables barely enough - get longer cable if you can or make your own. Overall installation challenging for novice, but end result is rewarding.

I currently have the clear lights installed on my 2005 Mustang GT, the lights are so bright you can see it in the day time. This is a must for safety when on traffic stops, the thing is so bright I hope it dosen't distract drivers passing by.

I've had these strobes for a few months now, and they are the brightest strobes I have seen yet. Instructions were not as hard to follow as some say, and kit came with everything needed plus extra connectors. The only thing you have to supply is a switch, power, and a place to mount the strobes. Whelen has yet again amazed me with their quality.

Whelen 90 Watt Power Supply and Hideaway Kit

I installed the kit in my 1994 Silverado (2 blue in the front high-beams and 2 in the taillights) The lights are very bright and get attention as night as well as during the day. I also like the anti-shortout feature that it comes with. It did take me a full 10 hr day to install but it was well worth the time and money.

Whelen 90 Watt Power Supply and Hideaway Kit

This is a great kit. There's no way people won't see you coming. The only problem is depending on your vehicle the 15ft cables might not reach. It would be better if it came with 2-15ft and 2-20 or 25ft cables. It has lots of flash patterns to choose from and can be hooked up to a switch box for changing the patterns. Depending on where you install them they can even function just like a wig wag if installed in the headlights and do not interfere with your lights on the road. The kit is not cheap but definately worth it to be seen.

Whelen 90 Watt Power Supply and Hideaway Kit

This strobe kit is excellent. The instructions could be a little bit more descriptive but better than nothing. This is my first strobe sytem and I am very pleased with it. It took me about five hours total to install and select my flash pattern. The strobes are extremely bright...you will not go unnoticed. Suggest getting a switch box/panel when buying this. I have a 2000 Ranger and I put two in my reverse lights and two in my clear corners in the front and it works perfect. I plan to put two in my brake lights and then get another strobe kit for the headlights, front turn signals and a Whelen Dashmiser. Despite the directions, EXCELLENT A+ product!

Whelen 90 Watt Power Supply and Hideaway Kit

I've done many stereos and starters, but this thing took me three days and three trips to Radio Shack. It seems for $300 they'd include decent instructions and a power plug. DON'T BUY IT IF YOU DONT HAVE PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION AVAILABLE!

Whelen 90 Watt Power Supply and Hideaway Kit

I have this kit in the back tail lights (red brake lights and white reverse lights) of my truck. I have 2 extra strobe lights hooked up wired into my headlights and another 90 watt pack hooked up with my GR046 grill lights in the front. The packs work great and are very bright... other cars really get out of your way and the visibility is great.
