Streamlight Stinger LED Flashlight with Standard Charger

I have had this light for 4 years. Switch went out the first year, but sent it back to streamlight and they updated the switch. No problems since.

Great quality, great value i have had my stinger for a year and a half and it still works like brand new but thr only problem is finding a holster for it no one sells one

Great little light to carry on your belt. Not very big or heavy such as the Maglight my dad carries. Very bright and really great for long distance lighting. I would recomend to my crew in my dept.

After 2 months, the light started getting dimmer and dimmer, but when it worked it was awesome! Also, the nylon holders they came with are worthless. 2 of the holder's buttons broke upon unsnapping, and 3 others, including mine, ripped at the belt loop while attaching to the duty belt. I recommend getting a ring holder and registering for the warranty without delay!

This is a great flashlight for on-duty use, or to just have in your vehicle. I love the strobe feature, though I never used the differing intensities of the light. My one and only complaint is that it does not have the ability to narrow/focus the beam, which was one of my favorite features of the standard Stingers.

I've had my original stinger for nearly five years with no problems and decided to upgrade to the LED. Great features for the price, the crisp LED light is much brighter than I expected, but the light is bigger overall (length and diameter). I have been using Bianchi's Accumold Elite compact light holder for a few years and the Stinger LED will fit.

I've been using this light for a year. Works great but it is large/heavy for a belt light. I carry a SL20 for primary and Stinger LED on my belt. Dimmer is pointless. Strobe is a neat trick for parties. Overall a good reliable belt light.

This light is awesome. I just got one because my Sgt kept blinding us with his strobe. Excellent tool for room clearing. Also, there IS a good holser for the light. Simply use a standard Bianchi 26 ASP holster. Im sure any other soft sided ASP holster would work fine too. This light is just as good as the Gladius, cheaper, and doesn't require lithium batteries. BUY IT!

Sweet light! I use an asp holder. It's a tight fit but it gets in there just fine.

This light replaced the light I carried in my car and works awesome. Was going to carry it but was too bulky. After about six months the switch went bad and I took it into my streamlight dealer and got it fixed free of charge.

The LED light is remarkable, bright and longer lasting. The short falls are that the button shorts out, the light turns on when not in use, and no one carrys a holster - I had to cut my stinger holster for carrying.

Bad Switch!

This light was very bright and durable. I really liked it, but all of a sudden I had to press the button very hard for it to work and then the bulb became very faint. I guess I need to send it back. Now I can't even tell that the light is on unless I look directly at the bulb.

Unfortunately after all these years I have to give a bad review. I had this light for under a month when the switch went out. This switch went out at a most unopportune time and could have had devestating effects for me. If a tool is unreliable then it becomes worthless to me, regardless of the price.

When I first got this light I loved it. Within the first week the rubber switch cover on the side fell out (impossible to put back in and expect it to stay), 2 weeks later the light would not charge (had to send it back to streamlight, still waiting to get it back). I did get a chance to use the strobe feature, worked great, confused the suspect and made him easier to detain. hopefully the problems get fixed, I am tired of carrying around the SL20x on every stop or call. Hopefully streamlight gets the problems fixed, I hate to have to find another brand.

I got this light after it first came out. The light is white and bright and was easy to use. After about six months the switch quit working right and then eventually only the strobe would work. Contacted Streamlight and had to send it back (they paid for shipping). They told me they had some problems with the switches going bad. Loved the light when it worked. Hopefully will work longer when I get it back.

Excellent light light to use. Used mine in Iraq as a Garrison Road MP. Excellent source for lighting, and the strobe function is great, plus the fact it is rechargeable with the same standard stinger charger, but need a nylon or leather hold that will fit in it.

I just received my new LED Stinger today. I'm very surprised and pleased. It is much brighter than I thought. Love the strobe feature. Haven't figured out how to dim it yet but I'm working on it. Great light!!

Great light but the switch on mine went bad after 4 months. Now I rely on my XT. Great light, they just need to fix the switch problems.

Nice light but nobody seems to sell a leather holder for it.

This light is not any better than the little plastic led flashlight i got from a hardware store for little over $20.00 that runs on 3 AAA batteries. it has the same lighting power as the stinger at the highest beam! dont become a victim.

Great light, extra bright, reliable and durable. Strobe is a great distracting tool to blind suspect. Much more durable and releable than the gladius at half the price.

The strobe feature is amazing! I think these are better than the standard stinger. I really don't get the dimming feature. Overall a great buy.

I am an armed security guard and this light is great. It's very bright and allows you to search for suspects safely. It is very easy to switch through the different beams and strobe. I think all law enforcment agencies should issue this light.

THE BRIGHTEST LIGHT IN A SMALL DESIGN. HIGH/MED/LOW BEAM WORK GREAT. STROBE FUNCTION IS VERY EFFECTIVE. NOT DIFFICULT TO OPERATE IF YOU CAN READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. GREAT LIGHT!!

This light is great! Super bright and the strobe feature is awesome. The strobe is very easy to operate, just turn the light on and off twice quickly. Will probably get a spare for the car!

Nice light, I figured out how to change from low, medium and high beam. The button is kind of difficult to push until it clicks for constant on, especially with gloves on. I still haven't been able to get the strobe light function to operate. The instructions do not mention anything about this or the selection between intensities.

This light is great. The strobe feature matches the Blackhawk Gladius at a fraction of the price. This light is also brighter than the Inova T4. Of course now that my Chief has seen it, he's buying them for the whole department!!!
