Under Armour Valsetz Side Zip 7" Tactical Boots feature:
Very light, comfortable and breathable. Only complaint is they do not hold up to well, mine are separating at the sole after a little over a year.
I considered the Alegent boots, but decided on these. Very much regretted. Right out of the box the Zipper binded up on the left boot. I'm a jailer and am on my feet from 1600 to 0400, and although they fit great and are very comfortable, the materials are very cheap. I bought a boot with the side zip, for quick removal, but they are so tight that I can barely put them on. Consider another style before going with these.
Bought my first pair and were super comfortable and light however like most people have said the sole starts to separate and fall off. Got them replaced with a free pair and those did the same thing. Wish I had read the reviews first. I am hesitant to buy any more Under Armour footwear.
I've had the same pair of boots for 4 years and they are just the same as they were when I got them! The most comfortable light weight boot, I couldn't ask for a better boot for being on my feet all day. As a correctional officer a good pair of boots is a must! I would recommend these boots to everyone I know!
This product is the best i ever known.
These are the lightest and most comfortable boots I have ever worn in 19 years as a cop. They are also cool and great for summer but will wear my full leather boots for rainy and snowy days.
Side zipper makes easy on/off.
I read a lot about the sole coming off the boot, so far so good for me but UA backs their products will give you a new pair if that happens.
I purchased these boots a year and a half ago. 1 month in and the soles were separating from the boot. Under Armour replaced them, and the new ones did the same. I work EMS, I was in them 60+ hours a week. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
These are awful boots, they tore after a week. I sent them back and was given a new pair that also ripped in the first two weeks. Very comfortable but not worth the $. If you work for an active department, do not purchase these boots.
The boots are incredibly comfortable and light weight however the soles are separating, I love the boots for comfort but cannot afford to buy a new pair every 6 months when the sole comes apart again. Would not recommend, if Under Armour was to design a stronger pair I would gladly buy them but for now I cannot do it.
After a few months the sole started to come off. After 4 months the sides started to tear. Never will buy again! I have had other boots last two years plus.
I'm a FF/EMT-P with 3 jobs and I love these boots. They are super comfortable. I've had them for 3 years now and they seem like new. I work between 48-96 hours a week and have had no issues with them. They only draw back is they are not suitable for wet weather other than that great boots....
These boots are very comfortable for every day long hour wear. However I have had them about 6 months and the sole is coming apart from the boot. Also they are not good with water. Only recommend to wear inside or during nice weather.
What I liked best about these boots are that they are really light and pretty comfortable! What I don't like is the laces don't hold up very well and after 10 months of use the heel came unglued! Probably overall they would make a good summer boot but that is it. I am used to 5.11 boots lasting a whole year and then some!
The boots are very comfortable with the feel of a running shoe. But if you’re hard on your footwear and tough on your boots they will not last. These boots only lasted me a little over 5 months. Tough to admit being a big Under Armor fan.
Horrible boots. Cheaply made. Bottoms fall apart before even leaving the station. If they can't stand up there, how can they stand up on street?
I'm a runner.. I like to chase my perps... For the street cop out there these boots are comfy and light. But they are cheaply made I'm on my second pair and the sole comes apart within 6 months. I tried to be optimistic but it appears under armour boots are overated on quality and durability.
These boots are horrible. After wearing for one week the bottoms started coming apart. I would not every buy these again and am really starting to reevaluate Under Armour's product as a whole.
I have had a pair of these for about 6 months and the boots are coming apart. I only wear them every third day while at the FD and they do not hold up.
