I bought these and loved them. They're light and comfortable. 4 months of everyday patrol use and the upper separated from the lower rubber tread. Disappointing especially at this price point
I've worn everything from Danner, Thorogood, Bates, Rocky, you name it for the past 11yrs in law enforcement. Never have I worn such a comfortable, lightweight boot. They feel like house shoes! I have to look down to make sure I still have a boot on my foot they're that comfortable. Sure, they're not as "sturdy" (for lack of better words) in the mud and muck or briars or wet dew/rain as a full leather boot but, I'll take comfort over sturdiness any day. I won't be ordering and wearing anything else.
I have owned many different boot brands. This boot has been the worst. I was ok with maybe buying 2 pairs of these light weight boots a year as that's what I have done with my nike boots all along. I literally have walked out of them in under 3 months. Its not just one little hole here or there but multiple holes all over the place on the mesh part of the boot. I will say this with a few small design changes these boots would be hard to beat, so I am hoping I see them in the future. For now I will stick to my Nikes.
Went I first wore these boots, as I was very impressed on how light these were, and how very comfortable they were. Then after about 3-4 months they started to fall apart. All of my co-workers who also bought these boots are having similar issues. I tried to contact Under Armor directly, but so far no reply. Going back to buying Danner boots, where I never should have left.
I ordered these boots looking for a lightweight duty boot. These are very lightweight and comfortable but after only a month of use the soles and stitching started to come undone. Luckily Galls let me return them for full credit as this is a known issue with these boots. Your money is best spent on a different brand.
Do yourself a favor and find another boot to spend your money on. I was sent multiple pairs of these boots because they seperated right behind the toe within weeks of wearing them. I have never seen a boot fail as fast as these do! Hands down worst boot on the market!!!
UA great boots if you win the lucky pair. 3 pr valsetz before the new rts version I was not lucky this time. The right sole started coming off in under a 1.5 months. I cant afford to have to send back every other pair till i get a pair that stays togther. I regret recomending them. UA call me if you learn to say quality control in Chinese. Thanks to Galls for quick service and returns . Their Customer Service Dept. (Jamie) in Ky will keep me comong back.
I still love em. I bought them for work but they are too minimalist so now I only wear them out of work or for training.
I really have a hard time calling them "BOOTS" with tactical pants on they look more like a pair sneakers. And they are about as light as my running shoes, but with far better support and comfort.
The only con is, that they are almost too minimalist, as a corrections officer who may need to control a combative offender these boots don't offer much protection from any strike to the foot/ankle.
To date, the best mid boot I have ever owned. For a boot, this feels like the most comfortable tennis shoe I have worn. Great job UA!
