    Uncle Mike's Duty Suspenders

The keepers snap off way too easy making these a bad choice if you're looking for duty belt suspenders.

    Uncle Mike's Duty Suspenders

The belt keepers seem to be sewn on backwards, in such a way that to support any type of weight, the snaps come undone. there is no way for these to work. i would not recommend these to anyone, and i cannot give them a "0 Star" rating, as there is no option for that.

Don't buy. Snaps come loose every time you move. Buy the K&W brand, about the same price. They have separate keepers with D rings and snaps, and they stay snapped. Uncle Mike's should be ashamed of putting this product out.

The snaps break very easily and the ?break away? design seems to do so at the worst moments. Spend the money on a higher quality pair.

My first pair lasted 3 shifts before a snap broke. The second pair lasted only 2 weeks before another snap broke. It's a great idea and they help your hips and back but they need to be more durable.

Practically speaking, these suspenders don't work very well. The snaps are continually coming undone from the belt. Get out of the car, loose a snap. Kneel down to tie your shoe, there go the back snaps. Get into a foot chase, there goes just about every snap.

I purchased this item and on day one, I was not happy with the design. Everytime I lifted my arms, the suspenders would come unsnapped. I have had to alter them so that I could use them.

I'm a street cop so the wear and tear gets put on all my equipment. The only downside I have with this product is the snaps break away too easy. I'm all for officer safety on this breakaway feature. However, they shouldn't break away from the pressure your belt gives it in a foot pursuit. Excellent on weight distribution.

I'm 5'9 and the small/medium is much too short. If you have broad shoulders or wear your duty belt low, get the tall size.

I've had these duty suspenders for eight months. They help take the pressure off of your hips and prevent the duty belt from sagging. However, just recently I have had two buttons fall off of the suspenders. Probably will buy another.

I ordered by height only to find out that they are sized by chest size, I am 5ft 6in and have a 52 inch chest. I ordered the size for my height only to find out they only fit size 42 chest. The L/XL fit a 46in chest. NOT WORTH IT!

I have alot of stuff on my duty belt, and it puts alot of strain on my hips and lower back. I would always be adjusting myself and pulling my duty belt back up, this way I won't have to keep messing with my belt.

    Uncle Mike's Duty Suspenders

I put off buying the suspenders for a long time. I thought I could put up with the sore back and hips. Now, I don't spend the time pulling my duty belt every time I get out of my patrol vehicle and I go home without the soreness. These suspenders are a must-have for any police officer who doesn't want to spend their shift in pain. It sure beats going to the doctor.

This is a horrible product. The belt keepers snap on backwards and are extremely impractical. I know they are supposed to be breakaway but three running steps out of the cruiser and they break away? Don't waste your money.
