TRU SPEC 24 7 Tactical Softshell Jacket

Have been looking for awhile for a good tactical jacket and Tru-Spec has delivered. Had a Condor Summit jacket in 2XL just was not long enough and a little to tight but the 2XL from Tru-Spec fits perfect ( for I'm 6ft 7in at 240lbs.) I have the length I need everywhere and the right fit with room for my vest. Yes the Condors do run small so watch it there but as far as the Tru Spec they are on the money. Great job Tru-Spec great jacket.

TRU SPEC 24 7 Tactical Softshell Jacket

I have been working in Corrections for 13 yrs now and have never owned a coat this nice. Great athletic fit forms to my body but not to tight. I wear a large generally but bought a XL to wear a fleece underneath. Definitely not over tight in the arms like other reviews would state. I'm 6'4" and 230 pounds and the XL was a good choice the L would have been to small. Coat blocks the wind and rain well so far. With the addition of a fleece underneath (not included) the coat kept me warm in -20 degree weather for extended periods of time.

TRU SPEC 24 7 Tactical Softshell Jacket

Jacket is a good fit. I wear a large t-shirt and ordered a large, which is a perfect fit (though as noted TS runs slightly small). Sleeves are a bit tight, but I haven't had trouble taking it off. Only complaint are the front pockets: they're large and roomy, but I would rather have two hand pockets, and one or two chest document pockets, a la 5.11 Tactical. Looks nice, and I always get compliments. I work in multiple fields (LE, FIRE, EMS) so the velcro on sleeves is great to change out patches/insignias.

TRU SPEC 24 7 Tactical Softshell Jacket

I ordered this jacket with the hopes of getting something to wear on the range that was waterproof and windproof and yet thin enough to still be able to move freely. In the past, I have learned that Tru Spec runs a little small so I ordered the 4XL instead of my usual 3XL. Fit great in the shoulders, chest, and waist, but was very tight in the bicep/ tricep area as well as a little too snug in the forearms. I really wanted to like this jacket but taking it off was like peeling a wetsuit off my arms. It was returned.
