These are great cuffs and are very easy to handle. They go on easy and allow great control of prisoners.

Better than chain, but has its flaws.
After transitioning from the Peerless Model 700 to these they are better at controlling the suspects, however, S&W needs to do a much better job at beveling edges. I've had to take several suspects to get stitches in their wrists because the handcuffs have a sharp, machined edge.

Best Handcuffs Ever
I've had these handcuffs for two years now. As a corrections officer, when I restrained someone with them I knew the subject was restrained. Now, working the street, I put as much, if not more faith in them doing what they were designed to do.

Good Handcuffs!
These handcuffs are really good in restricting hand movements. The only thing that's bad about Smith & Wesson is the strand is hard and you can't do fast cuffing like peerless but they are still good

Easy to apply. I would not use another name but smith and wesson. The only downfall is if you have a bigger person you are putting them on it's kinda hard to get their hands to meet.

Difficult To Maintain
These cuffs are difficult if not impossible to fix once they malfunction. Have had to cut them off on several occasions. Parts are not easy to swap out when the time comes.

Great Cufs
I carry these on a full time basis. They work great, if you can get them on the subject. If they are fighting it becomes very differcult to use these, that is why I carry a pair of the S&W chained, but once these are on the subject, they are'nt going anywhere. GREAT CUFF.
