I work in a jail facility and these cuff work great on controling people right off the streets and controling an inmate that has one on and is resisting. Best investment ever.

I got a pair of these and I have to say very nice. Weld is nice and strong, and the cuffs I got came in stainless steel. Very nice and holding up. I would really only use hinged for perps. AMAZING CUFFS!

I officially love S&W! They are my primary and backup weapons, AND I also have these cuffs! All work up to their extreme potential without any hassle!

Very nice cuffs, nice solid hinges! I bought mine for way cheaper and they ever laser engraved my name on the cuffs for free at thehandcuffstore.com!

I carry these on a full time basis. They work great, if you can get them on the subject. If they are fighting it becomes very differcult to use these, that is why I carry a pair of the S&W chained, but once these are on the subject, they are'nt going anywhere. GREAT CUFF.

These cuffs are difficult if not impossible to fix once they malfunction. Have had to cut them off on several occasions. Parts are not easy to swap out when the time comes.

Broke them in the first night I had them. Went on easy and fast. I just ordered another pair to replace my chain cuffs.

After transitioning from the Peerless Model 700 to these they are better at controlling the suspects, however, S&W needs to do a much better job at beveling edges. I've had to take several suspects to get stitches in their wrists because the handcuffs have a sharp, machined edge.

I've had these handcuffs for two years now. As a corrections officer, when I restrained someone with them I knew the subject was restrained. Now, working the street, I put as much, if not more faith in them doing what they were designed to do.

I am a Deputy Jailer, and in this line of work you have to have equipment that never fails and Smith & Wesson has never failed me! I have both the Model-300 and the Model-1 and I carry both on the Job. I needed the M-1 for larger Inmates.

These Smith & Wesson hand cuffs are the best cuffs I have ever used. They're dependable, long lasting and best of all if they ever break they have a lifetime warranty for them. I would not use any other pair of cuffs. I trust them with my life.

Easy to apply. I would not use another name but smith and wesson. The only downfall is if you have a bigger person you are putting them on it's kinda hard to get their hands to meet.

The ad on the Internet said Double lock engaging PIN When they arrived it had a slot instead. When I called customer service about it they said, We reserve the right to make mistakes online and in our catalog. Let the buyer beware!

These handcuffs are really good in restricting hand movements. The only thing that's bad about Smith & Wesson is the strand is hard and you can't do fast cuffing like peerless but they are still good
