Boot is sized small and the lace system sucks. I could never get the boot to lace up and tie tight until I relaced the boot and then I had to skip every other eyelet on the boat. I had the boot less than a year and both the outside of the boots spit/tore open. Not worth the money. I had been using Bates in the same price range for 10 years and was only replacing them once every 3 years. I am going to go back to Bates.
I'm a CO with 8 to 16 hours a day on my feet. Ive been wearing Fort Hoods for the last 7 years on the job. Never had a problem with the size or structural integrity of the boot. I do wear the soles off in about 6 months, but if you want a Bellville or Danner, you are going to pay for it.
I recently purchased these Rocky Fort Hood boots. The fit is extremely poor, too narrow even in wide size. The foot bed is uncomfortable and crippling.Officers who depend on their boots should avoid this Rocky model do not waste your money. The China made Rocky boots are not the same as they used to be and the no hassle return policy, Oh,well good luck with that one.
Had my current pair for almost 4 years. Most comfortable boot and best quality for the money.
Had the boot for about 5 months and already looking for new pair.I wear them 8 hours a day and work alot from a computer. There is no sole left on boot.
