Great Boots
December 18, 2015

I have been wearing these boots since 98 and they are the best boots i have ever owned, I take care of them regularly this way they last longer! Finally this pair had the snaps on the flap covering the zipper, I hated the whole velcro strap it made them look cheap & collected lint from socks. This pair is a month old at time of review and i finally have them broke in.

Not for me, but still a 3!
July 14, 2015

I am a fan of Rocky and there history, but most of there products never work for ME. The only problem is that these boots didn't fit. I love the paratrooper look and all leather quality. I am a 12-13 EE shoe and I ordered a 12 M. It fit fine width and length, but the heel of the boot just couldn't fit tightly to my heel. I tried tying them different ways and nothing worked. I laced em up and went downstairs to walk and run in them. With about ten minutes in my heel felt like it was getting raw. For patrolling, walking and running when a perp does, this boots would have never worked for ME. You can try for yourself if you'd like, I won't order again. I'm leaning toward the 5.11 ATAC 8" boot. Hope this was helpful to everyone!

Comfortable and fast break in
June 28, 2015

I've had 2 pairs of these. both broke in fast and i honestly prefer them to tennis shoes. The toe's take a pretty good shine. Not quite mirror but real darn close! Great looking boots. The only gripe i have is i only get about 18 months out of the soles. Rest of the boot is fine ( i take care of them!). Maybe its due being on concrete/asphalt all day and i wear them 7 days a week. I just think they should at least get a couple 2 or 3 years on a sole. Cowboy boots last longer than that with leather bottoms. One bonus, they are repairable. The actual lug portion glues onto the leather welt. Some folks are saying that the buttons pull through on the zipper cover and zippers are failing. that may be but mine never has.

Best Boot I've worn
December 18, 2014

This boot is built for a little more ankle support, the zipper flap always stays snapped unless you do something to pop them off, which is possible if you work in law enforcement. I have worn the same pair of boots for the past Five years. The only reason I am buying the same type of new Rocky boot, is because the sole is wore down to the point they need replacing. Which will happen with any boot. These boots are a five in every aspect. Make sure to buy the right size as they offer a few. Easy the keep shined and look good, I don't think you will be disappointed with this boot !

Sinking quality
March 31, 2014

I have purchased MANY pairs of these boots. I have had numerous years of good service (about 2 yrs/pair) and the price was lower than it is now. They used to be luxurious and comfortable inside, but the last pair was like a gutted car with many bare seams and joints. They wear like a medieval torture device. Saving money by stripping out the comfort features is NOT the way to get me to continue buying these. I will buy no more of these.
