I buy these in the women's cut. I have blk, green & khaki. I'm thick: butt & thighs. A size 14 in the real world. The blk faded immediately. It's not worth it even on sale. Now, I wear them on my natural waste because of the duty rig; therefore, the flexible waist band is negligible- no flex in the duty rig. W/O the rig, yes, the crutch is low. My thighs can feel each other when worn on my waist or lower. I don't care how my butt looks because I'm at work. Yes, I will buy them but not the black pant, because They work for work.
Although the material and construction are awesome. The trouser is design for men or perhaps a woman with no behind - European style women. I usually wear size 16 - 16W and ordered 18 due to the material. It fits well, but when I look sideways it is like someone hit me in the behind with a pan. Not one curve was there since there is no room, it just flattens you in the back. Even if I had ordered another size up it would not have matter and would have been too bulky. Sad because the rest was just perfect, I will have to donate them :(
I had order a pair of these about a year ago and loved them. But just recently I ordered another and they changed the fit!! I have to pull the waist way above my belly button just to get them to fit in the crouch! I don't understand way they would change them. so I will be returning them for something else.. I really don't feel like wearing pants at my normal waist with the crouch down by my knees..
I will be returning these pants. I had high hopes for them, but they come up way too far on my waist. They come well above my belly button and have a very hard water resistant coating on them, it sounded like I was walking around in ski pants. I went to a local store and will be replacing these with the 5.11 womens Stryker pant which felt so natural, I did not want to take them off. The stryker pant is definitely a low rise option, but comfortable without being unprofessional. I would wear them with a long tail uniform shirt and belt just incase.
I ordered these pants in a size 22. I normally wear an 18/20. They fit fine through the hips and thigh area, and the length is fine. There is not enough room in the bottom area, however. The pants seem well made, repel water and dirt effectively, and even come with a nylon belt. Overall a great pair of pants and the best fitting plus sized pants I've tried so far, but not enough room in the butt for 5 stars.
