These cuffs worked great for about a year. Then one of the double locks came apart inside the cuff and it was verry difficult to get the prisoner out. It is no longer possible to ger a key into that side because the lose internal parts block the key hole.

    Peerless Black Standard Handcuffs

As a LEO who works primarily outdoors, I needed a set of cuffs that didn't produce shine, as to better remain concealed. Cuffs have a great look. But after only two months of use, cuffs have begun to rust heavily. Even with maintenence and oil. I have a set of Smith and Wesson, never such a problem. My Peerles cuffs are now really rigid, kind of a pain....

Great cuff, I did have one side of them fall apart just after a small detention. over all they have worked out great because I dont have them covered and my uniform is mostly black. but I am leaning toward the nickel or stainless because of the small problem I had!

The cuffs work great, but you have to keep it out of the rain. If it gets wet at all it will rust. If you want peerless cuffs get the stainless or nickle plated.

These cuffs do not seem quite as big or quite as solid as their Smith & Wesson counterparts. The black finish scratches rather easy as well.

These handcuffs are very nice. They have good quality and the single strand lets you do fast handcuffing.
