I personally use a belt clip and mic, so I just face the radio toward my body and clip it to the strap. works great but dont know how long the nylon strap will hold up, hopefully at least a few years.....
This holder leaves the key button on the side of the radio exposed and you are always keying up when you get in and out of the car. Also got into a foot chase and the radio slipped right through.
It's not a bad product, but be aware, the strap is just a nylon strap with Velcro on it, I was hoping for something that appeared leather with basket weave look. Not that great for the small radios we use at my job, but would work better for larger.
I recently bought this radio holder for my Motorola MT 1000. It performs great. My radio doesn't fall out like other holders I have tried and it isn't bulky like most. Great buy.
I bought the radio holder after my old one made my hip hurt and my radio hard to hear. This holder changed all of this and makes using my radio a pleasure and fits my odd shaped radio.
Looks good on paper. The velcro strap tends to loosen after a while. I had a problem w/ the radio falling when running. The strap will also break after repeated tightening. Look for asomething else.
