Have worn the new boots one shift. The only problem i have at this time is my left boot has a significant squeak. Other than that they are pretty comfortable, they do not feel as soft on the soul of my foot, that I'm used to. i will post more at a later time this is a trial run purchase.
Ordered on Monday and had them on Thursday.
Great boot and great service
This boots are so comfortable and resistance to any conditions outside in the feel I love my boots thank you
I don't understand the bad reviews these boots are getting. My husband is a LEO.. he is VERY active and VERY rough on boots!! They are too expensive to get every few months! So years ago I researched boots on here and thought these would do the trick. They did!!! I love these boots. They have lasted him for years. I actually called him on duty before I ordered to have them take one off and give me the style number. I refuse to buy any other boot! I was afraid they had been discontinued because it had been so long since I bought the last ones. They are a VERY reasonably priced boot compared to others..and yet they are VERY durable.
I had these boots for almost a year now and the bottom of the shoe is coming apart and the top and sides are cranking and starting to get holes in them they need to make better quality boots before I bought these boots I had bought a pair of thorogood boots just like the ones like this and they lasted me 4 years way longer for the same price
I have worn these boots for the last four years. I am on my second pair. I am a walking patrol officer and I have a lot of feet problems but these boots are comfortable as well as supportive. For the price they are the best ever.
Have bought several pairs of these boots and like them alot...BUT when I started my ne job at a correctional facility I had to take them off every time to clear the metal detector..Very displeased with that and had a brand new spare set I ordered before starting the job..The unused pair will be RETURNED.
I bought these boots two years ago and they did alright for about 6 months. After that the so called leather started peeling, the soles are seperating, very noisy, and now the entire leather has split across the crease in your step. They have be taken care of by conditioniing and shining, it does not help.
Just got these boots today. Normally wear a 11 d in cowboy boots. Got 11 medium in these cause my size was out of stock. They fit a little big compared to other 11s. Wouldve probly been a little hard if on feet all day so i had room to add an additional gel insole. After that they fit great and really well cusioned. My advise is go half size bigger and add quality insole. Zipper functions smooth and really makes a difference in removal fast. I normally wear cowboy boots for comfort and speed on fire calls but they just dont have the traction i need for rescues and way more expensive. This is my initial impression first day of recieving. For the price if i can get more than 6 months of wear its a good deal. Would recommend for sure.
Got these less than a year ago. Lining on both boots tore out with normal wear and tear and today the zipper tore apart just taking them off. Also had the problem with them being noisy and the heel collapsing.
I agree with others who indicate that these are mediocre boots. Mine do squeak a lot and after less than a year, it feels like heel as caved in. I've worn a lot of boots and these are comfortable, just not very durable.
I have had them for a few months. I never wear them because they make a lot of noise when walking, Zipper sucks on them. My as well sell these boots for 30.00 dollars. Hopefully the other boots I have coming are better.
I bought this boot and after wearing them for two shifts, the left zipper broke. I contacted Galls and let them know and they said I have to buy a new pair, send these back and I would be given credit. The next day, the right zipper broke. DO NOT BUY THESE
I got some of these boots when I was working on Tyndall AFB as security, they are AWESOME! Great support on your foot if u stand in place for 12hrs a day !
Also when I got a job as a grocery clerk I got ran over with a pallet jack with around 2000 lbs over both feet. It still hurt like hell but could have been a lot worse and I do contribute not having anything broken to these boots. Only really bad contusions but they were not broken !
Had these for six months, okay Boots. They are cheap material IMO. The soles on the feet are coming off. They squeak worse then a pack of birds and the material of the leather scuffs easy. But they are still in one piece.
Heard bad things about these boots but they were priced right so I thought I would give them a try. They are comfortable right out of the box, and i have had only 2 weeks now but feet are feeling great at the end of a long day. Just some minor squeaks when walking but maybe it will work its way out.
