I used it and had no problem with the clip. The newer models have a better clip. Also has a ear jack on side. The toggle switch at the base of the mic allows for stealthy key up without raising your hand to the mic or taking the radio out of the case. I think it is a worthwhile tool.

First the clip breaks but the most important thing is that the microphone just don't work and when an officer needs his or her radio that's very important. It will not transmit. It was okay for 3 months.

I had my first one for about 3 working days and one of the brass pin on the connector broke. Sent it in and got a new one. 4-5 days later, same thing, plus the clip isn't that good.

Good, clear, easy to use, but has a junk clip that broke in first week of use.

This product works pretty well. The ptt button on the side is an excellent accessory to the product. When out on patrol and talking with individuals, I don't have to reach for the microphone, instead I can just press the ppt on the side and still keep eye contact and my hands readily available... no problems yet.

The mic worked great for the first 2 weeks I had it and then the clip broke. It was replaced soon after and only last approx 1 month before the clip broke again. The transmissions are clear, but I wish the clips were more durable.

Save your money. The design makes the button difficult to activate with gloves on. Three of the metal contacts bent after only a few weeks. If the product wasn't so terrible I would be asking Motorola for a replacement.

My rear clip also broke within several months and the reception is well below what our Dept Issued Mics recieve. The Push to Talk Button also needs some work as it is rough to transmit at times.

Great mic love the ptt button on the connector, but really needs a cover to prevent accidental tx. That got me in a little trouble. whoops. However, on a sub-zero MN day after only 3mos use, the plastic on both the clip and the connector broke!!!!!!!

It only lasted a couple of weeks. Minor contact with the mic broke the clip on the back. Also experienced a lot of interference with the reception in areas where there was normally no problems with my department issued mic.

The mic itself is good, the talk button on the mic is great, I don't push it with my chin. The button on the connection needs to have some work to prevent pushing it when in the vehicle, or any unwanted time. But it is a good mic.

The design of the clip on the back makes the microphone bulky if carried any other way except shoulder. The push to talk button design on the connection is a good idea, however a cover to prevent constant accidental activation is needed.
