I just ordered my third pair of these boots (that says something in and of itself). I try not to buy any others, but I guess at some point they will price themselves out of my range. Last pair was on sale, but with shipping etc. they were still $200.00. The problem is that boots are one of those few things, like service firearms, that you cannot afford to scrimp on because the consequences of failure can be troublesome to say the least, whether it is a broken ankle, infected feet or another type of wound, sitting around on the downtime, the one thing that I am sure won't cross your mind is that you saved a few dollars by buying the cheaper product. Sometimes it can strain a budget, but not nearly as much as OWCP time costs.
