Galls® Flexible Waist Belts go under slacks and over your shirt to keep your shirt tucked in neatly. Waist belt fits waists up to 50.
I have worn this waist belt with my uniform for one week. The metal fastener has already broke off. I am not satisfied with this product at all.
This particular belt is way better than other alternatives out there. I was pleasantly surprised that it lasted well over a year of daily patrol use before finally starting to break apart. This belt is an essential part of keeping my uniform looking professional. When I finally had to replace my original, I bought two more.
First one of these I had lasted for a long time, Second one broke the second Put it on. The grommet ripped right out of the plastic
I always try to review products and purchase based on positive reviews, however, these reviews were misleading. I am LEO w/10 yrs on the job and always have tried to look professional, therefore, I have used the stirrup style shirt stays in the past, however, they never really held up. Plus they would eventually end up scraping/rubbing my legs. I decided to look for an alternative and came across this belt. I've used it 3 times and on the 3rd time, the metal button tore through the belt and landed on the floor while trying to put it on. Piece of advice, DON'T waste ur money!!
I bought this product back in 2003 and have worn the same one since then... I did have to replace the button after about a year, and used a snap kit from my local hardware store. Since then it has work great until recently. The rubber is starting to break down so it's time for a new one. The only problem I have with this product is the button, but use a snap and it will last quite some time...
This is a good product and it is even better when used with garter belt shirt stays. When they say fits up to size 50 inch waist they mean it. Sometimes though it does pop up over the waistband. It depends on the weight of the supplies on the belt.
This product is also great for basketball officials. With all the running we do we need something that keeps our shirts tight and keeps our pants from sliding down.
I got into law enforcement in 2007. That's when I purchased my first one of these. It's now April 2010 and I am buying my second one now. It's all in how you care for it. Great Product. When my button broke I just used a safety pin.
