On my second pair of these. The first pair is still waterproof and comfortable, but the tread is worn down after 2 years of abuse. My current pair is in its second year as well, but the tread has held up considerably better. Boots are comfortable but do require a couple days to break in. Mine have survived a lot of abuse in the elements, extreme temperatures, running, going prone, beating the toes up, crawling, and everything else associated with duty wear and training. Both pairs remain fully waterproof after many attempts at drowning them. I haven't found anything that can kill them. I briefly switched to another brand and switched right back. Also, these boots will hold polish and shine up quite nice if you've got to worry about inspections.
