Engagement is so smooth throughout the 22 positions that no back loading is necessary. - Double Lock and Warning
Double lock foils attempts to circumvent the locking mechanism by trying to jam it. Yellow indicator alerts you to double lock the cuffs before releasing your subject.

All cuffs can have problems.
I have used the steel version for about a year and just got the aluminum one. 1-All cuffs can bend and miss the mark but peerless is a little tougher. I haven't had any problem with mine at all. I have seen S&W cuffs lock up too where they almost didnt come off.

Lightest cuffs I ever carryed.
I work 12 hour shifts and these cuffs never fail. Worth the money. I carry the hinge also, both work great and are very light versus other cuffs. I love the two sided key holes. They are very handy.
