Great Handcuffs
I have used these handcuffs for a while and they are excellent on violent individuals and suspects with high adrenaline. Because of their heavier weight they are less inclined to try and fight with them on. I always carry one pair of chained cuffs and hinged cuffs, and by far the hinged are my favorite.

I have a pair of the chained and hate them. These on the other hand are great. I love the size for larger wrists and they do close small also. I will use these all the time. I recommend them to anyone needing a great pair of cuffs.

Fell apart with minimal use
My cuffs have seen MINIMAL use and fell apart after 4 months. The pins holding the ratchet system together completely fell out, turning my cuffs into a handful of scrap metal.

Bought one pair, won't buy another, ever.
I bought a pair and within 2 months they no longer worked, they slipped all the way out, fortunately not with a prisoner. However I will never carry another pair of Peerless cuffs. I know a lot of people love them, not me.

Good Cuffs But Not The Best
Nice pair of hinged handcuffs, but these cuffs don't come close to their Smith & Wesson counterparts. The Smith & Wesson Model 300 hinge is far superior to these cuffs. The hinge on these cuffs feel weak compared to Smith & Wesson

Almost 2 Years Old & Still Strong!
Great set. I have been using them in security, fugitive extradition, and patrols. I would not suggest using them as a primary cuff for extraditions, due to the limited allotment of movement and the long durations that prisoners are sitting in the car. Great at gaining control of a subject that is violent or still resisting. Once one cuff is on, the next one is a piece of cake due to being able to control the subject by holding the other cuff. The link looks like a bike chain and is easily able to be stored in the open top cuff case due to being able to bend in the center. S&W won't fit right into the open top case due to having a non-bending hinge.

Liked, until they broke
I bought a set and after two months the unlocking mechanism doesn't work properly. They won't unlock. Am willing to try another pair but skeptical.
