Not great
June 24, 2015

I recently used this baton in a fight with a subject. It bent within a strike or two. I understand batons will do that, but this one is just not durable and was rendered useless far too quickly. When I bought it, I liked the price. But when you need a piece of equipment to protect yourself, price shouldn't be the deciding factor. I'm going to buy a much nicer, higher quality baton because this one is 10-42.

I have the 26" model and it fits nicely in the Galls nylon holder; very sturdy and reliable.

Cheap quality

I have used this baton for training etc and although it is reasonable I don't feel that it is worth considering when there are much better alternatives on the market. Some of the British stuff is excellent and super hard wearing and strong.

Good economical baton
April 22, 2014

I use these as disposable units when I travel overseas and in my cars and RV. I've had things removed / stolen from checked luggage. So I don't want to check an expensive baton to have it go missing. I own a number of these in 16 and 21 inch. They operate as they should. No complaints. I'd prefer a smooth grip. But the grip supplied does the job. I've read some imported folding batons tend to bend when training with heavy use on hard objects . I have not tested these under those circumstances so I can't comment. For what they are and the price offered they are a real bargain. For personal carry I use the auto locks.
