Great knife but...

great knife and fit perfectly in my hand. I dont like the chain that comes with it, dont trust it!! The chain will give way when you try to pull the knife out. go to hardware and get some strong rope. Not sure about boot as i have used it in that fashion.

great boot knife
May 13, 2015

I bought this knife 2 years ago. It takes and holds a reasonable edge. I carry it in the knife pocket that's on the outside of my 5.11 boots. I poked 2 small holes in the bottom of the knife pocket. I put a boot lace through the bottom holes on the kydex sheath and then ran the lace through the two holes in the pocket from the inside. I then put the sheath in the pocket and was able to tie the sheath into the pocket. I then tied and super glued a knot and cut off the excess lace. This has never come loose and the sheath is very secure.
